Meet & greet on arrival at Guwahati airport & transfer to Hotel. Guwahati, ‘The light of the East’ is the commercial capital of North East lying adjacent to the shores of the turbulent Brahmaputra. For guests arriving in the morning, enroute to hotel visit the Maa Kamakhya temple and Sankardev Kalakhetra. Situated on top of the Nilachal Hill, Maa Kamakhya Temple is the most sacred among the tantrik shrines of Shakti worship in the world. Kamakhya temple is also famed for the annual Ambubachi Mela held for 4 days during monsoon season. There are images of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Chamundi and many dance fixtures. Situated on the Nilachal Hill, the temple structure resembles a Shikhara - a beehive. Besides the main Devi temple, there are temples of 10 Mahavidyas in and around temple. These include Bhuvaneshvari, Bagalamukhi, Chinnamasta,Tripura Sundari, Tara, Kali, Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Matangi and Kamala Temples. Temple doors remain open for devotees in the following timings - 08:00 am to 01:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra is the cultural complex, named after the most revered Saint of Assam, Srimanta Sankardev and provides a glimpse into Assamese culture & heritage. It has a cultural museum, library and various facilities for preserving, demonstrating and performing cultural items, besides a children's park within the sprawling premises. The Central Museum exhibits culture and heritage of different ethnic groups of Assam showcasing their dance, drama, music and art. Another famed attraction in the Kalakshetra is an Artistic Village. This Assamese village portrays the village life of Assam in the form of life like statues and model thatched huts.

After breakfast check out of hotel & drive to Shillong (100 kms / 3 hrs drive from Guwahati airport). En route witness the Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya in midst of sylvan hills adorned by Khasi pines & peerless beauty. Check-in Hotel and after refreshment if time permits visit Cathedral of Marry and Ward’s Lake. Evening free at leisure to explore the region on own. You may take a walk to the famous Police Bazaar for shopping. Overnight in Shillong.

After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on the earth, for an awesome day trip. En route visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak - to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city. At Sohra, stop at the Duwan Sing Syiem view point for mesmerizing views of the Hills. In Cherrapunjee be witness to the gorgeous Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Later take a soft cave walk inside the Mawsmai Cave. The limestone cave is a natural wonder with innumerable formations inside it. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park. Drive back to Shillong for overnight stay. Note: Most of the waterfalls are dry during winter season.

After breakfast drive to Tezpur / Bhalukpong (325 kms / 7 hrs drive), a town on the Assam – Arunachal Pradesh border. Check in to hotel. Overnight in Tezpur / Bhalukpong.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Dirang (4910 ft). Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre. Arunachal, the ‘Orchid Paradise’ is famed to have the largest variety of orchids in India. The Orchidarium at Tipi shelters 500 or more varieties of orchids which are available in various parts of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a premier Institute of excellence in orchid research and development, under the State Forest Research Institute (Department of Environment and Forests , Arunachal Pradesh). Check in Hotel. Evening at Leisure. Overnight at Dirang.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Tawang (10,000 ft). En route witness the unique Dirang Valley famous for its monasteries, hot Springs, Apple & kiwi Orchards, sheep breeding farms & charming valleys. Also witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at 13700 ft, the Jaswant Garh War Memorial and Jung Falls. Overnight in Tawang. Jaswant Garh War Memorial : Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place. Sela Pass : @13700 ft, the Sela Pass is is snow-covered (full or partial) all through the year and has breathtaking mystic views. Close to the Pass is the beautiful Sela Lake, a heart-shaped lake chiseled between the mountains, which intensifies the beauty of the region. The Lake is mostly frozen in winter. The Sela Pass is the main route to access Tawang town and is located 78 km before reaching Tawang. Jung Falls : The Nuranang falls (original name) @6000 feet is located about 40 km before reaching Tawang is famed as one of the most stunning waterfalls in North East India. The falls height is about 100 meters. The legend about the waterfalls goes that it is named after a Monpa girl Nura who aided an Indian soldier during the 1962 Sino-Indian War.

Tawang is the beautiful land of the Monpa tribes. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives you unparallel purity of nature. After breakfast, visit the Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, Ani Gompa and PTso Lake. The Tawang Monastery, also known as the “GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE” is one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia and is the largest of its kind in India. The Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. It stands at 10,000 feet amidst the exotic Himalayan ranges and overlooks the Tawang-Chu valley. The Urgelling Monastery is located 5 km from Tawang city, and is the birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, born in the 17th century. The monastery was established by the Lama Urgen Sangpo in the 15th century. Mongpa village visit will acquaint a visitor to their lifestyle, culture and traditions. The villages are located amidst exquisite beauty. Later visit the War Memorial commemorating the bravery of the Indian heroes of the Indo-China war of 1962. Witness the light & sound show in the evening. Overnight in Tawang.

Morning drive back to Bomdila. At a height of 8OOO ft., Bomdila is a small town famous for its Buddhists monasteries, magnificent valleys and Himalayan landscapes. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in Bomdila.

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga (280 kms / 8 hrs drive). Check in to Jupuri Ghar or similar. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India’s threatened mammals. There are numerous other major wildlife fauna. Early morning go for Elephant ride @ 5:00 am. Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daglang and Foliomari area. Later enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga. In the afternoon you may take an optional Jeep Safari (at ADDITIONAL COST) in Western Range of Kaziranga National Park. With Baguri as the entry point, the range covers the Monabeel, Bimoli, Kanchanjuri areas. Overnight in Kaziranga.

After breakfast transfer to Kohima (260 Kms / 6 hrs drive). Check in Hotel Japhu or similar. Evening visit the local bazaar where you can be introduced to the Naga food items consisting of vegetables, insects and fishes. Overnight in Kohima.

After breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing covering the War Cemetery, the church, the Sale Emporium and Kohima Village. After lunch visit Jakhama village to experience the real Angami Naga tribal way of living as you take a village walk. Also visit the Heritage Complex where the Hornbill festival is celebrated every year. Overnight in Kohima. War Cemetery: The revered memorial commemorates the brave soldiers and warriors who laid their lives fighting the Japanese during the World War II. It is embellished by two tall crosses against the backdrop of seasonal roses & lush greenery. The base of the lower cross, is engraved with the lines: “When you go home, tell them of us & say; For your tomorrow, we gave our today” Nagaland state Museum: it is housed in ancestral weaponry & provides an insight into the Naga culture, traditions & history. The exquisitely carved gateposts, status pillars, statues & traditional Naga costumes & jewelry are the main exhibits of the museum. Kohima village: The village is said to be the biggest & most populous in entire Asia. According to Naga legend, the present day Kohima was founded here. At the entrance are exquisitely carved ceremonial gates, with the scimitar of horns of mithun (BosFrontalis), symbolizing bravery & valor. The Catholic Cathedral at Aradura Hill in Kohima, is one of the biggest cathedrals in North-east India. Its splendid architecture makes it one of the important landmarks of Kohima. The unique design created by blending the traditional with the orthodox developed into an architectural marvel. A must-visit place in Kohima

Morning after breakfast, drive to Imphal, the capital of Manipur. Visit Shri Govindajee Temple and Manipur State Museum. Evening free at leisure to visit the Khwairamband Bazaar (a local market run by mothers). Overnight in Imphal. Manipur, the Land of Jewels, lies in a lowland crisscrossed by the water-channels of the Loktak Lake in the North East corner of India. The diverse culture of the state is depicted In martial arts, dance & music and handloom & handicraft. The magnificent natural beauty of the state is a unique charm of the place.

Morning after breakfast, tour the city covering Zoological Garden and Khonghampat rchidarium, . Later drive to Moirang (45 km / 1 hr), the ancient capital of the Manipuri Kings. It is also the centre of Meithei culture. Cross by the local villages as you go to see the Sadu Chiru waterfall and the Japanese war memorial, which reflects the history of the Second World War. Visit the Keibul Lamjao National Park (the only floating park in the world). It is the last natural habitat of the marsh dwelling brow-antiered deer locally called ‘Sangai’. Near-by is the Loktak Lake and Sendra Island (a hillock Isand with mesmerizing views of the Loktak lake). Loktak Lake is the largest fresh water lake in the North East. Watch the unique floating islands ‘Phumdi’ that are actually floating weeds on which people live ! Return to Imphal. Overnight in Imphal

After breakfast transfer to Imphal airport for onward journey. TOUR ENDS HERE.

  • 4. Above 10 years / Extra adult with an extra bed sharing room are same & charged as per (EPSR)

Cancellation Policy:

  • 1. Minimum Cancellation is Rs. 1000 per Head.
  • 2. 25% Between 30-20 Days Before Tour Departure
  • 3. 50% Between 20-10 Days Before Tour Departure
  • 4. 75% Between 10-05 Days Before Tour Departure
  • 5. 100% on the Same Day & No show.
  • 6. Cancellation charges as % of Total Tour Cost.

About Vehicle:

  • 1. We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.
  • 2. Non A/C Santro Wagnor / Alto for 1-3 Pax including child.
  • 3. Non A/C Sumo / Max / Hard top Jeeps for 4-8 pax.
  • 4. Innova / Scorpio / Xylo / Tavera for 6 pax including child.
  • 5. Gangtok city tour is done only by Maruti van / Indica / Wagon R (4 people in a car).
  • 6. If guest are booked for luxury vehicle, Innova / Scorpio / Xylo / Tavera will be provided as per availability.
  • 7. Only 06 heads are allowed in 1 Innova / Scorpio / Xylo including child. In case the number of heads traveling increases, than the guest will have to take another vehicle.
  • 8. In one Sumo / Max only 08 heads are allowed including child. If the number of heads traveling is more than 08, then guest will have to take another vehicle.
  • 9. Incase the guest is opting for Innova / Scorpio inform the guest to travel light with minimum baggage of one piece per person. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be borne by guest directly.

Important : About Hotel-

  • 1. Check-in 13:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 11:00 hrs.
  • 2. The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim & Darjeeling is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations there is always scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would come across situation like water (hot) being supplied on time basis – morning & evening.
  • 3. Room Heater available with an extra cost bourne by the guest directly (Except at Super Luxury , Luxury , Heritage Premium & Classic categories)
  • 4. Category of Rooms in the packages normally remains to deluxe Room .
  • 5. Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
  • 6. A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
  • 7. For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
  • 8. Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
  • 9. In the area (almost all) the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can arrange rooms at the lowest floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs possible.

About Transport:

  • 1. If arrival of guest is by train at NJP Railway Station, please be informed that our executive will be there to receive the guest at the New Exit Gate (Near Escalator) or arrive at Bagdogra Airport our executive will be there with the PLA – CARD at Exit Gate on the Airport.
  • 2. The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.
  • 3. As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Sikkim & Darjeeling region – guest will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers.
  • 4. We would appreciate, if the guest does not lend their ears to the drivers as most of the time they misguide the passengers. In such instances we would request them to contact our executive.
  • 5. On arrival of guests we will provide mineral water, small kits, local tour co-coordinator number & service voucher. Our representative will brief the total tour itinerary to the guest.
  • 6. As most of the services are on point to point basis, it is obvious that the drivers would also keep changing. Keeping this in mind please ensure that you do not leave your belongings in the vehicle as there is very little possibility of getting them back. Always check your baggage before leave the vehicle.
  • 7. In this sector the same vehicles will not be providing for the entire tour, it will be changed sector-wise. So we request you to inform the same to your guest to avoid any circumstance.
  • 8. If any tourist spot do not complete which falls on closing day & if they wants to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle.
  • 9. If guests want any changes in their sightseeing schedule they should be informed to our executive previous day before 16:00 hrs, after that no changes are allowed. If the guest inform after 16:00 hrs it will be consider as a cancellation with no refund or guest will pay extra cost for reschedule the sightseeing.
  • 10. Please inform your guest to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive. Mainly in Gangtok vehicle will not allowed to park at the hotel instead of parking stand. Once our vehicle will leave the hotel area without picking up the guests & come back at parking stand then guest must have to arrange their own to reach at the parking stand.
  • 11. In Gangtok outside vehicle are not allowed to enter in the city. Only local taxi can roam around within Gangtok city. All outside vehicle will pick up & drop them from Deorali taxi stand. We provide local taxi for pick up & drop from hotel to taxi stand. For this reason guest have to wait sometime in the taxi stand.
  • 12. In case the guest is opting for Innova / Scorpio inform the guest to travel with minimum baggage (one baggage per person). In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this extra vehicle will be born by guest directly.
  • 13. Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
  • 14. Only 06 heads are allowed in 1 Innova / Scorpio / Xylo including child and 08 heads are allowed in 1 Sumo / Maxincluding child. In case the number of travelers are increases, than the guest will have to opt for the additional vehicle with an extra cost which is directly payable by the guest on spot.

Terms & Conditions:

  • 1. Every tourist should send a Xerox copy of their voter’s identity card or passport and three passport size photographs at least ten days before the tour starts. Tourists should carry their id cards at all times during the tour.
  • 2. Booking to be confirmed before 15 days with payment.
  • 3. Company does not have any liability if the tour is cancelled or itinerary changed during the tour due to any unpredictable event.
  • 4. Company does not cover insurance in case of any accidents or loss of belongings, etc.
  • 5. Do not carry Indian Rs 500 or Rs 1000 currency notes.
  • 6. Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan.
  • 7. Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is illegal.
  • 8. Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.

Note:

  • * Permit require for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 04 copies of pass – port size photograph, original photo ID proof with photo copy(identity card – Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License etc) for processing the permit.
  • * Permit also require for traveling to North Sikkim (Lachung & Lachen).Requires 02 more copies of passport size photographs along with original photo ID proof.
  • * The above mentioned hotels will be confirmed as per the room availability. Otherwise we will confirm similar category.
  • * The rates quoted in the packages are on per person basis, valid for Indian nationals & till 15th Sep 2014 (High seasons surcharge will be applicable from 20TH Dec – 04TH Jan).
